We have been doing work stations three times a week for about 2 weeks. The kids practice letter recognition, number recognition, and counting. They will get more difficult as the year progresses. I have 20 stations and we do 1 or 2 each time.
Add One More- DR and LL each roll a dice and mark the number that is one more on the mat. Whoever gets 4 in a row wins. |
JF and JP are counting beads and putting them on a chenille stem. They also count the rectangles and match to the number. |
HG and KS are practicing the popcorn words by stringing the letters on chenille stems. |
DC and DC count the spiders on the web and record them on the recording sheet. |
HM and JG are playing Roll a Letter. |
CG and TM are counting pumpkins. |
